Way To Stay Positive #1

Yesterday I was thinking about my previous post, then thought how useless it is to post about the importance of speaking and thinking positive without posting easy and practical methods to do so. So, over the next few days/weeks I'm going to post some easy to learn, effective methods that anyone can use to keep their mind focused on the positive.

Positivity Step #1 - Be Thankful

Yep, that's it. You have to be thankful about the good things you already have. Everyone has something to be thankful for, even if it's simply the ears to hear the clicking sound the keyboard makes when you type and the sight to read the words on your computer screen. It's impossible to be negative while thinking of all of the things in your life to be thankful for.

My personal method of expressing gratitude is prayer. Every morning I thank God for all of the things I have to be thankful for. My friends, my family, my pets, my health insurance...everything!!! And you don't have to be a Christian to do this. You can simply say, "I'm thankful for ___" and fill in the blank. Do this over and over again for all of the things you are thankful for and be sure to do it every day, maybe even a few times a day, and soon you will begin to see your life in a new light. I also bet that soon, more positive things will begin to flow into it.
